Fine Art Photography
Being a team, Rod and Rebecca travel and explore together, each photographing the experience in their own individual way. Rod works in black and white creating simple yet uniquely sophisticated images, while Rebecca uses color, texture and lighting to create a mood. Both photographers work in digital and film but stay true to traditional photography using little or no photoshop.
Through her youth Rebecca had in interest in photography, shooting 35mm film, though never seriously pursuing the craft. While attending college, photography took a backseat to Rebecca’s education and career. Her interest in photography was renewed as she was able to find time to explore her environment.
Rod has had a passion for art in all forms since his youth. But family and a busy career didn’t allow time for many hobbies. It wasn’t until after he retired in 2014 that Rod was able to finally realize and pursue his passion for photography.
In 2006 Dreaming Tree Galleries was formed. At that time it was Rebecca exhibiting her photography in galleries and outdoor art festivals. Rod has now joined her, both exhibiting their artwork in shows and festivals.
